Dining at the Grange Hotel, we want your dining experience to be a real treat to warm the heart & tantalise the tastebuds. So our chefs take great pride in using only the best of locally-sourced produce to create our fabulous menus.
For only £38.95 per person, we offer one of the finest culinary experiences in Cumbria with our five-course table d’hôte Dinner, served in the elegant, candle-lit Carriages Restaurant each evening. If pre-booked a minimum of 48-hours in advance we can offer guests the reduced Early Bird rate of only £34.95 per person. We also offer a 2-course option (starter & main or main & dessert – both inc. of tea/coffee) for only £28.00 per person. The extensive wine list has been carefully selected to complement each meal; we hope you enjoy sampling what we have to offer. Our maitre d` will be on hand to discuss the merits of our selection and assist you with your choice.
Choose from our Lounge Menu for a lighter bite, or for afternoon tea out on the terrace. This menu is served daily from noon until 9pm and is also available for Room Service (a separate children’s menu is also available). We also offer an excellent selection of wines, available by the glass, to accompany your meal.
We firmly believe that breakfast should make you look forward to getting up in the morning: our delicious hot and cold breakfast buffet is served from 7.30am on weekdays and 8am at the weekends and offers everything you need for the perfect start to your day exploring the Lake District.

Breakfast: Mon-Fri: 7.30am – 9.30am, Sat & Sun: 8am – 10am.
Lunch: The Lounge Bar serves food between 12 noon and 9pm daily.
Dinner: 7pm – 9pm in Carriages Restaurant each evening. .
Room Service: Served from our Lounge Menu (with a small service charge) 24 hours daily
