The package includes discounted admission to some of the most beautiful gardens in England that just happen to be situated on our doorstep. One such garden is the unique, prize-winning topiary gardens at Levens Hall. Another is Holker Hall which boasts several themed gardens set in a country estate. Altogether, a fabulous day out.

If walking is more your forte, choose our Walkers Paradise Break and receive a copy of one of our specially-commissioned handbooks, "Walks Around Grange" or "Nowt but Scenery"plus a delicious cream tea on your return to the Hotel. Only £279 per person from March - May, and £288 per person from June - October.

Both walking books have been specially commissioned for the hotel, with all the walking and travel instructions from the hotel.
"Walks around Grange" features 8 walks in the Grange area, so you can simply leave your car in the car park and enjoy a day's walking in this beautiful and peaceful area.

Alternatively, if you fancy going on to the Lakeland Fells,"Nowt But Scenery" features 10 low level Lakeland walks. None of the walks venture on to the high fells, so you do not need to be a fell walking expert to complete them. Travel instructions to the start points are included in the text.
